Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through the concept of state/UT pairing. The states carry out activities to promote a sustained and structured cultural connect in the areas of language learning, culture, traditions & music, tourism & cuisine, sports and sharing of best practices, etc.

Here in Kendriya Vidyalayas too, we adopt and follow this religiously. In our Kendriya Vidyalaya Nuapada, we conduct several activities to foster a sense of collectiveness and belongingness as Indians every year. The activities are conducted generally on a month to month basis and in certain cases according to our Academic Calendar. For the current year 2024-25, we have our pairing state Maharashtra. Through video conferencing and by organising several events like dance, essay writing, music, sports with the paired school of Maharashtra. Students get a chance to exchange not only their ideas but their emotions too, what they feel and what they want to exchange. These activities under EBSB inculcates and nurtures in the children the values and skills that is the dire need of the 21st century that turn the students into the citizens of a global world.
